Nigerian senator Shehu Sani has reacted to Lauretta Onochie’s nomination as INEC commissioner by President Muhammadu Buhari.
In response to Onochie’s nomination, Senator Sani tweeted:
“Lawan Senate no go fit reject her,if na Saraki Senate she no fit come near gate lai lai,when she see Dino face.”
Senator Shehu Sani alleged in his Twitter post that with the current structure of the senate, it would be very easy for Lauretta Onochie’s nomination to be confirmed.
President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday, October 13, 2020, appointed Lauretta Onochie who is currently the president’s special adviser on social media and three others as INEC commissioners.

- Professor Muhammad Sani – Katsina State
- Lauretta Onochie – Delta State
- Kunle Cornelius Ajayi – Ekiti State
- Seidu Ahmad – Jigawa State
