Showmax to launch new reality TV series based on Laycon’s life next year

A new reality TV series based on the life of ex-BBNaija housemate Laycon is in the works.

The show titled “I Am Laycon” is being produced by the video-streaming platform Showmax. The show which will start airing in February 2021 will become Showmax’s first original Nigerian series.

Showmax confirmed the news in a statement which reads:

“It’s official, Laycon is coming back to our screens! The Big Brother Naija Season 5 winner, Lekan Agbeleshe aka Laycon, is set to star in Showmax’s first-ever Nigerian Original, I Am LAYCON.”

The 27-year-old reality TV star also shared the news on Twitter, writing:

“I’m so pumped right now! My reality TV series; I AM LAYCON, courtesy Showmax!!! 2021 let’s do this!!!!!!! #IamLayconShowmax.”

Fans of the rapper and reality TV star have flooded his timeline to congratulate him over the big news.
