Nigerian music artist DJ Babus dies of COVID-19

Popular Nigerian disc jockey and music producer DJ Babus is dead.

DJ Babus whose real name is Babatunde Bello died of complications due to a COVID-19 infection.

DJ Babus died in the early hours of Friday, January 29, after a long battle with COVID-19 infection.

DJ Babus was a resident DJ at Four Points by Sheraton, Lagos between 2014 and 2015.

After leaving Four Points, he played at RSVP Restaurant and Lounge, located at Victoria Island, Lagos.

DJ Babus was the only son to Mrs Nadia Bello, a popular Nigerian businesswoman who is the proprietor of Belinna Schools in Akoka, Lagos.

Friends and colleagues of the late artist have taken to different social media platforms to mourn him.
