A new report has emerged quelling rumours that Regina Daniel’s mom, Rita, had gotten married to a younger man after giving her daughter away to an older man.
Lawrence Daniels, the son of Nollywood actress Rita Daniels has revealed that the viral photos of his mother’s wedding to a younger man came from a movie scene.
Nigerians had earlier reacted angrily to the wedding photos with many accusing Rita Daniels of finding a younger lover for herself after giving out her daughter to an older man.
To further fuel the talks, Rita Daniels and the man she allegedly married, Larry Zuka, who has now been revealed to be the movie’s director, made suggestive posts on both their Instagram pages.
Rita Daniels wrote “True love wins” while Larry Zuka posted on his own page, “Thank God I found you.”
The actress’s son, Lawrence also posted: “Your union will never die mom.”
Bur he later told reporters that the photos were from a movie scene and are not real.
He said:
“The photos are from a movie scene. Social media can catch their cruise but they will be shocked when they eventually see the movie.”
