Ex-BBNaija Lockdown housemate Neo has clarified the reports that he washed Vee’s pants on TV.
BBNaija Neo was on the week leading to the show’s finale caught on video washing his BBNaija love interest’s pants.
Co-housemate Nengi, who walked in on the lovebirds couldn’t hold her surprise when she saw Neo washing Vee’s pants. She looked at Neo and told Vee she is a lucky girl.
Neo’s action generated mixed reactions among Nigerians and the news trended for several hours on social media. While some Nigerians took the reality TV star’s side, stating there is nothing wrong with a man washing his woman’s underwear, others criticized Neo and called him a disgrace to manhood.
During his media rounds, Neo clarified what actually happened that morning. Neo told Beat FM that he did not wash the pants but only rinsed it.
Neo said: “This is 2020, there is no special act of service, I know how to express my feeling. Funny enough, that day I did not wash the pant, I only rinsed it.”
