#OccupyLekkiTollGate: Lagos Police commissioner orders release of all protesters

The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, has ordered that all persons arrested in connection to the #OccupyLekkiTollGate protest this morning, February 13, should be immediately released.

Men of the Nigerian police today, Saturday, February 13, arrested about 35 persons at the Lekki tollgate area, including popular social media comedian, Mr Macaroni.

Some innocent bystanders and commuters were also among those arrested.

The suspects were detained at Area J police command, Elemoro, Ibeju Lekki.

According to TVC News, Police Commissioner Odumosu has ordered that all arrested persons be released immediately.
