Unrest in Lekki as Okada riders reportedly attack men of RRS police team

There was some unrest in the Lekki area of Lagos this Monday afternoon, April 26, with gunshots being heard by people living and working around the vicinity.

According to a report sent to DNB Stories by an employee working around the area, the unrest allegedly started after motorcycle riders (okada) operating around the area attacked some men of the Rapid Response Squad of the Lagos Police.

The chaos took place in the Lekki Phase 1 area, according to reports, and residents have been advised to be cautious of the area.
