Details of singer Omawumi’s marriage, husband and children

Omawumi is a Nigerian Afropop singer that came into limelight after she emerged as one of the runner-ups of the Western African Idols in 2007.

The lawyer turned singer was born on April 13, 1982 in Delta state. She is married and blessed with two lovely children.

Omawumi’s marriage and wedding

Omawumi is married to Tosin Ibrahim Yusuf, the founder of Lloyd Gate Limited, a real estate company and an ex co-owner of Zamunda night club and bar in Ikoyi, Lagos State.

The ‘if you ask me’ crooner was Tosin’s baby mama for four years before the duo tied the marital knot in 2018. She got pregnant for her baby daddy turned husband three months after they met.

The love birds kept their relationship away from public view and this sparked a lot of rumour on media, especially when Omawumi was pregnant with her first child andthe identity of the child’s father was unknown.

The news of Tosin’s proposal to Omawunmi in September 2014 was shared by her best friend, Waje, who is also a Nigerian singer. The couple exchanged the marital vows on Friday, January 16, 2015, at a registry in Ikoyi. They had their low-key traditional wedding at Omawumi’s hometown in Itsekiri, Warri, Delta State on January 13th, 2018.

The family was blessed with a male child after their traditional wedding and their marriage seems to be a peaceful and blissful one.

Omawumi’s husband

Omawumi’s husband is Tosin Ibrahim Yusuf. He holds a degree in Business Management and an MSc in International Business from De-Montfort University, Leicester. He is the founder of Lloyd Gate Limited, a real estate company.

Omawunmi has always described her husband as a supportive husband and has always attributed her success to him.

Omawumi’s children

Omawumi has two lovely children (a girl and a boy) with her husband. She had her first child, Kamila Emmanuela Yusuf on Friday, June 17, 2011, around 9:00 am at the Rockdale Medical centre, Atlanta, Georgia, USA.

The ‘Wonder woman’ crooner had Kamila out of wedlock and was a single mother for the first four years of her daughter’s life.

She had her second child, a baby boy on July 18, 2015 at a hospital in the United States.
