Nigerian singer Sound Sultan dies of blood cancer

Legendary Nigerian singer Sound Sultan is dead.

According to an official family announcement, Sound Sultan died on Sunday morning, July 11.

He was aged 44.

The cause of Sound Sultan’s death is reported to be angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma – a rare form of blood cancer.

The beloved singer is survived by his wife, Chichi Morah and three children.
