Toni Tones’ childhood and education
Toni Tones was born as the youngest child in a family of five on July 20, 1985, in Lagos State. Though born and raised in Lagos, Toni Tones is reported to be originally from Odolewu, Ijebu-Ode L. G. A. of Ogun State.
She is also reported to be the daughter of Nigerian politician, Senator Anthony Adefuye.
Toni Tones had her primary education at Our Lady of Apostle Primary School, Yaba, before proceeding to Queen’s College, Lagos, for her secondary education. She obtained a degree in Marketing and Economics from the University of Lancaster in the United Kingdom. She also attended the Relativity Film School in Los Angeles out of the desire to improve her acting skills.

Toni Tones started her career as a photographer in 2009 upon her return to Nigeria from the UK. Prior to her return, she had undergone 3-months of photography classes while in the United Kingdom.
The actress made it known that she developed a passion for photography during her last year at the university. She carved a niche for herself in the fashion and entertainment industry, photographing celebrities and models. Her works caught the attention of Nigerian hip-hop singer D’banj and she became the photographer for his 2009 reality show ‘Koko Mansion’.
Working with D’banj that year earned her more recognition in the industry. As a photographer, Toni Tones has worked with top Nigerian magazines Like Genevieve, FAB, MADE, Sound City, and Vanguard’s Allure. She has also photographed celebrities like Don Jazzy, Tiwa Savage, Banky W, Wizkid, Omawunmi, Waje, and many others.

Toni Tones tried her luck at singing in 2011. She released her official single in 2013 titled ‘I Know What You Like‘ which was produced by Baby Fresh under Mavin Records. She also released another song titled ‘Hey Boy’ featuring Nigerian singer, Cynthia Morgan in 2015.
