Yoruba actor and musician Yusuf Satia has died.
Yusuf Satia’s death was confirmed this morning by fellow actor and colleague, Kunle Afod.
Mr Afod, an actor and filmmaker, expressed his sadness over Satia’s passing in a tribute posted online.
Kunle Afod also recounted how he tried so hard to see Yusuf before his death.
Olakunle Afod wrote: So sad to hear this … RIP Yusuf satia Is gone… Tried so much to see you this year and celebrate you but it was aborted… Continue to rest on.
Other actors and colleagues of Yusuf Satia, including Ibrahim Chatta, Kolawole Ajeyemi (Toyin Abraham’s husband), Bose Alao, Toyin Adewole and others have also taken to social media to mourn the late actor.
