The 2020 Headies Awards nomination list is OUT and many Nigerian talents bagged a recognition.

Nominations for the Headies this year have been mostly fair.

The two most coveted categories at the Headies for rising stars – Rookie of the Year and Next Rated – had some of the tightest nominations this year.

Rookie of the Year

This is a voting category for an artiste who has had a successful year musically, with the absence of an album in the year under review.

This is also a voting category for the most promising act in the year under review.
