Timi Dakolo is a Nigerian R&B singer, songwriter, and music producer. He emerged as the winner of the first season of Idols West Africa in 2007.
Timi is a graduate of Mass Communication from the University of Port Harcourt. He also received a Masters’ Certificate in songwriting on July 29, 2015, from Berklee College of Music, Boston, Massachusetts.
The R&B singer is one of the judges of The Voice Nigeria.

Timi Dakolo got married to his sweetheart Busola Amupitan in 2012 after they have dated for two years. They met at the House on the Rock Church in 2010, where Busola was a member of the congregation and Timi was in the choir.
The couple is blessed with three children, though like the custom of most artists in Nigeria, Busola and Timi had their first child before their wedding in 2012.

Busola Dakolo is a graduate of Geology and Mineral Resources from the University of Ilorin. Busola has said that photography is her passion because she loves telling stories with pictures.
Busola Dakolo and Biodun Fatoyinbo rape controversy
Timi Dakolo’s wife, Busola, made headlines in June 2019 after she accused Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo, the founder of the Commonwealth Zion Assembly(COZA) of raping her on two occasions.
According to her, the rape incidents happened in 1999 while she was 16 years old. Busola said she lost her virginity to Pastor Fatoyinbo.
In November 2019, a Nigerian judge dismissed Busola’s rape allegations against Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo, saying the charges should have been brought within the permitted six years.
Timi Dakolo’s children
