A new show called “The Real Housewives Of Lagos” is coming to Showmax on April 8, 2022.
Abbreviated RHOLagos, like the foreign “Real Housewives” franchise, the show will be Nigeria’s first instalment of the award-winning franchise by NBCUniversal Formats and third in Africa.
New episodes of the show will premiere every Friday on Showmax – the streamer arm of Multichoice.
According to the show’s producers, “the Real Housewives of Lagos (RHOLagos) is set to give a peek into the opulent and oh-so-extra lifestyle of some of the most affluent women in Lagos, living their best Eko-Miami lives.”
Meet the cast of The Real Housewives of Lagos (RHOLagos) and what they do:
RHOLagos follows the opulent lives of six glamorous women living in Lagos, Nigeria.
1. Carolyna Hutchings (@hrmcarolyna)
Carolyna Hutchings is the CEO of Hutchings Limited, a real estate, oil and gas, and agriculture company. She is also the founder of Hopeville Foundation, an NGO that caters to women and children. Hutchings is a mother of three beautiful kids.
2. Laura Ikeji (@lauraikeji)
Laura Ikeji is a social media influencer, author, and entrepreneur. Ikeji is a mother of two, married to former Super Eagles star Christopher Kanu.
3. Chioma Ikokwu (@chiomagoodhair)
Chioma Ikokwu is a lawyer as well as co-founder and CEO of luxury hair brand Good Hair Ltd, and Brass and Copper Restaurant & Lounge. She also runs a charity organization called the Goodway Foundation. Chioma Ikokwu is the only member of The Real Housewives of Lagos (RHOLagos) cast that has never been married.
4. Toyin Lawani-Adebayo (@tiannahsplacempire)
Toyin Lawani is a renowned celebrity stylist, fashion designer, business mogul and CEO of Tiannah’s Place Empire. She is a mother of three super-talented kids and is married to musician and creative photographer Segun Wealth.
5. Iyabo Ojo (@iyaboojofespris)
Iyabo Ojo is a famous Nollywood actress, producer, TikTok sensation, brand influencer, entrepreneur and CEO of Fepris Limited. Ojo is a divorced mother of two.
6. Mariam Timmer (@mariamadeyemitimmer)
Mariam Timmer is a PR expert and chief executive director at Six Sixteen Agency. She’s the creative director at Lure Fashion Limited, an online retail fashion line, an online content creator, YouTuber and entrepreneur. Timmer has a beautiful daughter and is married to John Timmer.
