Who is Linda Ejiofor?

Linda Ejiofor is a Nigerian actress and model. She became known following her role as “Bimpe Adekoya” in the long-running MNet TV series, “Tinsel”.

Linda Ejiofor’s full name is Linda Ihuoma Ejiofor. She was born on July 17, 1986, in Lagos but she is originally from Isuikwuato, Abia State. The 35-year-old actress is the second of five children born to her parents – Mr and Mrs Ejiofor. She obtained a degree in Sociology from the University of Port-Harcourt, Rivers State.

Prior to this, the actress had put in for a diploma course in Theatre Arts at the University of Ibadan, Oyo State, but had to drop out after 3 months because her father was not in support of her course of study.

Linda Ejiofor started her career as a part-time model while studying at UNIPORT before becoming an actress. Luckily for her, her first major acting gig which was the role of “Bimpe Adekoya” on the popular TV series “Tinsel” earned her recognition in the movie industry.

Her appearance in the 2012 award-winning romantic comedy “The Meeting” where she starred alongside Rita Dominic, Kate Henshaw-Nuttal, Chinedu Ikedieze, Femi Jacobs, Jide Kosoko, and other stars, helped to further establish her name in the Nigerian movie industry.

The actress was even named as one of the 10 fastest-rising Nollywood actresses by Tony Ogaga Erhariefe of The Sun Newspaper in 2013. Linda Ejiofor has since then appeared on close to a hundred movies, several of them being high-budget projects.

Linda Ejiofor’s marriage and wedding

Linda Ejiofor is happily married to her industry colleague, Ibrahim Suleiman and they have a child together. The love birds got married on November 8, 2018, just a few days after Linda announced their engagement.

They had a lavish traditional wedding which was followed by an equally elaborate white wedding, with Linda Ejiofor’s bestie, Adesua Etomi, serving as her maid of honour.

Linda Ejiofor and her husband, Ibrahim Suleiman were friends before they met on the set of “Tinsel”. They later moved from being just friends to lovers, making them the fourth couple the TV series produced.

The actress and her husband have been able to maintain a scandal-free marriage for the three years their marriage has lasted. The movie couple even hosted the 7th Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award (AMVCA) ceremony together in 2020.

About Linda Ejiofor’s husband, Ibrahim Suleiman

Ibrahim Suleiman is Nollywood actress Linda Ejiofor’s husband and the father of her child. Ibrahim is also a Nollywood actor, dancer, architect, model, and TV presenter.

Ibrahim Suleiman’s full name is Ibrahim Onimisi Suleiman. He was born in the northern part of Nigeria on September 25, 1983, though he is originally from Edo State.

The 38-year-old actor obtained a degree in Architecture from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He started his career as a dancer at the age of18 while still in the university.

According to reports gathered by DNB Stories Africa, Suleiman’s circle of friends influenced his dancing career and he took it as a profession in 2008 after working a regular job for a while. He ventured into acting after dancing for 11 years.

He also participated in the Malta Guinness Street Dance contest, with his dance group emerging as the winner of his season. Suleiman came into the limelight after winning the competition and he was subsequently made a Malta Guinness ambassador.

As a model, Ibrahim Suleiman has featured in several TV commercials for brands like MTN, GTBank, DSTV, Unilever, amongst others. Some of the movies he has appeared in include: “Ibukun” (2018), “Tokunbo” (2019), “Heaven Baby” (2020), “Trigger” (2021).

Linda Ejiofor’s children

As of the time of publishing this report, Linda Ejiofor is the proud mother of one child – a baby boy she had in July 2020.

The child’s name is Kenon Iman Suleiman and he is almost 2 years old right now. Linda Ejiofor and her husband both announced the birth of the child through their separate Instagram pages in July 2020.
