How Robert Kardashian started his career
Robert Kardashian Sr started his career as a lawyer in the late 1960s but he later switched his focus to business. Later on, he and his brother Tom and another investor founded “Radio & Records”, a trade publication in 1973. The company was later sold for a large profit in 1979. It was during this time that Robert Kardashian met and became friends with football star O. J Simpson. The two started a frozen yoghurt shop and later founded a music video company called “Concert Cinema” together.

In July 2003, Robert Kardashian Sr was diagnosed with oesophageal cancer which led to his death on September 30, 2003. O.J Simpson is an American former football running back, actor, and broadcaster. He was born on July 9, 1947, in San Francisco, California, United States. He is 75 years old as of September 2022.
Robert Kardashian and Simpson first met in 1969 while both of them were at the University of Southern California (USC) and became close friends. Simpson was the best man at Robert Kardashian and Kris’ wedding in 1978. On June 12, 1994, Simpson was charged with the murder of his wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman. Due to how close he was to Robert Kardashian, he stayed for a while at the Kardashian’s residence to avoid the media. According to Robert, he found Simpson attempting to commit suicide in his youngest daughter’s room. After talking him out of it, Robert Kardashian appeared at a press conference to read what the public termed Simpson’s suicide note.
Meanwhile, Robert Kardashian had not been in the courtroom for a long period and therefore his license was inactive. He later reactivated his license to help in Simpson’s defence as an assistant in his legal team alongside Simpson’s main attorneys. Even though Robert Kardashian reactivated his license to defend his friend, he started to doubt his friend’s innocence after the evidence was presented.

I have doubts. The blood evidence is the biggest thorn in my side that causes me the greatest problems. So I struggle with blood evidence.
On October 3, 1995, Simpson was found not guilty of the murder of his wife and her friend. However, in February 1997, a civil judgment found Simpson responsible for the death of his wife and her friend and ordered him to pay the sum of $33.5 million to the Goldman family. Simpson later served nine years in prison for robbery and kidnapping over an attempt to steal back some of his sports memorabilia from a Las Vegas hotel room.
