Who is Michael Jackson?

Michael Jackson was an American singer, songwriter, and dancer. He is widely recognized as a multi-talented entertainer who is also regarded as the “King of Pop”. Throughout his career, Michael Jackson influenced artists across many genres through his singing, stage and video performances. To date, Michael Jackson has remained the most awarded individual music artist in history.

Michael Jackson’s full name is Michael Joseph Jackson. He was born on August 29, 1958, in Gary, Indiana, the United States as the eighth child of ten children. The singer died on June 25, 2009, in Los Angeles, California, the United States at the age of 50. His father, Joseph Walter “Joe” Jackson was a former boxer and a crane operator at U.S Steel. He also played the guitar with a local RnB band called “The Falcons” to support his family.

Joe Walter Jackson died on June 27, 2018, in Nathan Adelson Hospice, Las Vagas, Nevada, United States.

Michael Jackson’s mother, Katherine Esther Jackson (née Scruse) was a part-time worker at Sears, an American chain of department stores, and an aspiring country and western performer.

Michael grew up alongside eight siblings – three sisters and five brothers. He also has a half-sister named Joh’ Vonnie Jackson from his father’s relationship with Cheryl Terrell, an American retired secretary. One of his brothers, Brandon Jackson who happened to be a twin to his sixth brother Marlon died shortly after his birth in 1957. Michael Jackson and his four brothers were in a band formed by their father, called ” The Jackson 5″. “Jackson 5” recorded several songs, performed at clubs and cocktail lounges, and even won a talent show.

Michael Jackson’s cause of death

On June 25, 2009, Michael Jackson died in Los Angeles, California, United States after suffering from cardiac arrest. His cause of death is ruled as propofol and benzodiazepine overdose. The medications were prescribed to him by his doctor, Conrad Murray. Michael Jackson was 50 when he died.

His first marriage was to American singer, Lisa Marie Presley while his second was to American dermatology assistant, Deborah Jeanne Rowe. However, before and after his marriages to these women, Michael Jackson had been in several controversial relationships with other women. Michael Jackson also faced multiple accusations of being a pedophilic gay man in the media.

About Michael Jackson and Lisa Maria Presley’s marriage

Lisa Marie Presley is an American singer and businesswoman. She is the only child of popular American actor, Elvis Presley, and his wife actress Priscilla Presley. She was born on February 1, 1968, in Memphis, Tennessee, United States. She is 54 years old as of July 2022. According to reports, Lisa Marie was seven years old when she first met Michael Jackson in 1975 who was performing as part of the Jackson 5 band in Las Vegas. However, they did not get to know each other until 1992 when they had dinner with a mutual friend in Los Angeles. At that time, Lisa was married to American singer Danny Keough with whom she shares two children, Riley and Benjamin. According to Michael Jackson, the wedding felt empty because his mother, Katherine Jackson wasn’t there and he knew the wedding had to be on a low-profile otherwise the press would have turned it into a disaster. Months after their wedding, Lisa Marie released a statement on August 1, 1994, confirming their marriage.

The statement reads:

Despite the genuine connection they both shared, the marriage lasted less than two years, and by January 1996, Lisa filed for divorce. In a later interview, Lisa disclosed that they spent four more years after their divorce getting back together, talking about breaking up and breaking up. After her divorce from Michael, Lisa Marie had a series of other marriages and relationships, two of which produced her four children.

Deborah Jeanne Rowe popularly addressed as Debbie Rowe is an American dermatology assistant widely recognized for her marriage to Michael Jackson. She was born on December 6, 1958, in Spokane, Washington, United States. She is 63 years old as of July 2022. Debbie Rowe is the second woman Michael Jackson married.

Michael Jackson and Debbie Rowe first met in 1996 while Debbie worked as a dermatology assistant at a dermatology clinic run by renowned skin specialist, Dr Arnold Klein. a. Michael Joseph Jackson Jr popularly known as Prince is the oldest of Michael Jackson’s children. He was born on February 13, 1997, at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. He is 25 years old as of July 2022. As a baby, Michael Jr was nicknamed “Prince” and was taken care of by several nurses and nannies at Neverland Ranch. The 25-year-old has appeared on various TV shows and is the founder of the Heal Los Angeles Charity to continue his father’s “Heal The World” initiative.

b. Paris-Michael Katherine Jackson is the second child and only daughter of Michael Jackson. She was born on April 3, 1998, in Beverly Hills, California, United States. Michael Jackson’s sexual allegations

Before and after his death, Michael Jackson was the subject of multiple sexual abuse accusations and police investigations. It all started in December 1986 when Michael met James Safechuck, a 13-year-old California boy on a Pepsi ad set. James was hired to appear in a Pepsi commercial alongside Michael Jackson. Afterwards, James Safechuck disclosed that Michael had befriended him after the ad began airing and had been extremely generous to him and began lavishing him with gifts.

James Safechuck further revealed that Michael began flying him and his family for visits and on vacations, and on one of those visits to Hawaii, Michael asked him to sleep on his bed. In August 1993, the police began an investigation with claims that Michael Jackson might have molested the young boy. However, the police found no concrete evidence and in 1993, James’ family filed a lawsuit against Michael but the singer denied all claims.

That same year, Michael’s elder sister, LaToya Jackson came out to say that the allegations against her brother were true. She also claimed that she and her siblings were sexually abused by their parents. LaToya later revoked her allegations against her brother in 2011, saying that she was forced to make them by her husband whom she also accused of being abusive.

About Michael Jackson’s death

On June 25, 2009, less than three weeks before his “This is it” show was due to begin in London, Michael Jackson died from cardiac arrest as a result of a propofol and benzodiazepine overdose given to him by his physician, Conrad Murray.

According to reports, Conrad Murray had given him the medication to help him sleep well at night. Shortly after, Michael was not breathing and a CPR was performed, but all revival efforts proved unsuccessful and the star singer was pronounced dead. News of Michael Jackson’s death quickly spread online, causing major websites to slow down and some crashing. His memorial was held on July 7, 2009, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, United States.

The memorial was followed by a family service at Forest Lawn Memorial Park’s Hall of Liberty, Glendale, California, United States. The service was one of the most streamed events in history as over one million fans applied for tickets to the memorial. Celebrities like Mariah Carey, Jennifer Hudson, Lionel Richie, and Shaheen Jafargholi all performed at the memorial. On September 3, 2009, Michael’s body was laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, California.

In 2010, a police investigation revealed that Conrad Murray had not been licensed to prescribe the medications. He was later found guilty of homicide on November 7, 2011, thereby receiving a four-year prison sentence.

  1. Many more marriages and children: his secret families. Marlon, Tito, Jackie all died 2009 fall/winter after Michael. DC tribute band now impersonating them. All tabloid info is nothing more than PR speel.
