Babajide Sanwo-Olu is a Nigerian politician and a former banker. He has been the Governor of Lagos State since 2019. Sanwo-Olu is currently serving his second term in office under the All Progressive Congress (APC) political party.

About Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s alleged son – Emmanuel Sanwo-Olu
In December 2022, a 27-year-old man from Delta State, Emmanuel Sanwo-Olu, alleged that Governor Sanwo-Olu was his father. The man said his mother, Grace Moses, had told him he was the Lagos State Governor’s son.
He would later file a lawsuit against the governor in the Delta State High Court, Effurun, and request a DNA test to confirm his claims. However, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, through his lawyers, invoked the immunity clause to prevent him from submitting to a DNA test.
Emmanuel had presented a 19-paragraph statement to the court. The statement read that Babajide was an employee of a company operating in Delta State between 1994 and 1995. It also alleged that the governor had impregnated his mother in 1994. He said his mum had lost contact with the governor after he relocated from Warri. However, no update on the case has been released to the public as of the time of writing.
