Nigerian singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, traditionally married his long-time partner, Chioma Avril Rowland, today (June 25, 2024). Davido, who has been criticized for being too accessible, especially to newcomers in the entertainment industry, has made attendance at his wedding strictly by invitation. 

Recall that Davido and Chioma were first linked in 2018 and got engaged in September 2019. Their relationship has faced numerous challenges, including the tragic loss of their first child, son Ifeanyi, and several cheating allegations against Davido.

Although the couple had a private wedding in early 2023, their official wedding celebration is currently underway (as of the time of writing). The wedding, tagged #Chivido2024, is being held at Harbour Point in Victoria Island, Lagos State, with top dignitaries in attendance.
