Nigerian Afro-beats singer Burna Boy has finally joined other Nigerians in demanding an end to the brutality of men of the SARS police unit.
The singer has mounted #ENDSARS billboards across the country as a way of lending his support to the ongoing campaigns for the end of the notorious police unit.
The 29-year-old musician was formerly criticized by some Nigerians for staying silent on the #ENDSARS campaigns currently rocking the country.
Nigerians in their numbers are currently demanding the total scrapping of SARS – a unit of the Nigerian Police which has over the years become notorious for harassing, attacking, detaining, extorting money, threatening to kill and killing innocent civilians.
Nigerians have reacted favourably to Burna Boy’s #ENDSARS billboards and praised the singer for his commitment to ensuring the success of the demonstrations.
