Nigerian Afropop singer Rema has cut off his dreadlocks in protest against the brutality of SARS police.
The singer shared photos of his new look on social media with the caption:
“Dreads don’t mean I’m a criminal #EndSARS.”
SARS is a unit of the Nigerian Police which has over the years become notorious for harassing, attacking, detaining, extorting money, threatening to kill and killing innocent civilians.
