Jo lived with his mother in a small village in Warri. None of his classmates liked him because of his stupidity.
His teacher was always yelling at him, “You are driving me crazy, Jo!”
One day Jo’s mother came to the school to check on how he was doing. The teacher told his mother honestly that her son is simply a disaster, always getting very low marks and never gets any answer correct.
‘I have never seen such a dumb boy in my entire teaching career!’ the teacher said.
The mother was shocked at the feedback. She withdrew her son from the school and moved to another town.
20 years later, the teacher was diagnosed with an incurable heart disease. All the doctors strongly advised her to have an open heart operation, which only one surgeon could perform in Nigeria. That doctor was to be found in University of Ibadan Teaching Hospital.
Left with no other option, the teacher decided to have the operation. She traveled to Ibadan and was booked for surgery the next day.
The operation was successful.
When she opened her eyes, she saw a handsome young doctor smiling down at her.
Uhm some teachers keep forgetting that every child's brain is different and we learn differently,u don't condemn a child no matter what, that's why here in d UK they try to know every child weakness, know how they undestand better, either by audio or verbal.it is well with naija
