BBNaija Lockdown housemate Laycon has moved past co-housemate Nengi to become the current most-followed BBNaija Lockdown housemate on Instagram.
As at the time of publishing this post, Laycon who goes by the handle @itslaycon on Instagram currently has 627K followers while Nengi (@nengiofficial) has 620K followers, both still counting.
Before Laycon’s takeover, Nengi held the title of most-followed BBNaija Lockdown housemate for six weeks. A former MBGN contestant, Nengi Hampson already enjoyed a level of fame before joining the BBNaija Season 5 show.
Both Nengi and Laycon are currently top contenders in the BBNaija Lockdown show, alongside other Lockdown housemates Dorathy and Erica.
Laycon who was earlier misjudged in the show for his appearance with some BBNaija viewers predicting in the show’s beginning that he would be among the first to be evicted has gone on to become one of the most-loved of all the housemates. Laycon currently control a large group of fans who support and root for him. Many top Nigerian celebrities have also declared their support for BBNaija Laycon.
Over 20 Nigerian celebrities including Broda Shaggi, Tunde Ednut, OAP Dotun, Anita Joseph, Di’Ja, Ice Prince, Daddy Freeze, Denrele Edun, Teni Makanaki, Niniola, Stephanie, Yvonne Jegede, Jide Awobona, Samklef, Odunlade Adekola, etc, have declared their love and support for Laycon.
Laycon who never appeared on the Bottom Four list during the public vote period is up for eviction this week after being nominated by most of his co-housemates.
Laycon’s horde of fans who go by the title “Icons” have sworn to vote massively for Laycon to keep him on the show.
