The moment a Nigerian police officer chased an unarmed young man into a speeding vehicle was caught on video which has gone viral on social media.
In the video, the policeman is seen ordering the man to do “frog jumps” while pointing a gun at him. The man obeys the officer but as he continues to aim at him as if trying to shoot, he takes off. The officer chases him and he is hit by an oncoming vehicle.
The video and many others like it depicting all manner of ways Nigerian security officers have harassed, injured or killed innocent citizens in Nigeria have further spread anger among Nigerian youths who are currently protesting for an end to police brutality in the country.
