Nigerian musician Timaya has been arrested by men of the Nigerian police following allegations that he was involved in a hit-and-run incident that left woman bleeding in the hospital.
According to information gathered by DNB Stories Africa, the musician had hit a yet-be-identified woman with his car in the Ikate area Lagos but instead of stopping to check the victim, he zoomed off.
This is according to the story of a lady identified as the victim’s sister who went online to share a video of her sister on a hospital bed after suffering serious injuries from the incident.
The lady alleged that Timaya had hit her sister’s car and when she got down to confront him, he hit her with his car and drove off.
Emerging reports have confirmed that men of the Nigerian police stormed Timaya’s residence in Lekki this morning to pick him up.
