One sweet Valentine night in Nigeria like that …

by Zeus

Trying to be romantic, Mike turns off the lights.

He fills the water tub, lights the candles and spreads red flowers all over the place.

He sprays sweet smelling incense in the room and turns on a sweet, smooth love song.

Nkechi enters the room and gets struck with fear.

Mike is in the bathroom.

She hurriedly grabs her bag and runs out. Outside, the gate is locked.

Nkechi takes off her shoes and jumps over the fence.

“I always knew it that that boy’s money is not pure,” she pants as she makes her way back to Umuoji.

“It’s not me they will use for money ritual! Aru asaa!”
