At a time when nations are paying special attention to their own citizens over foreigners for employment, a hotel in Uganda posted this vacancy advert in a newspaper:
In the advert, the hotel explicitly states that they’d prefer to hire a white person and an Indian over an African for the roles of hotel and restaurant manager respectively.
Many reports also confirm this is the case with most indigenous companies in Nigeria, Ghana, and many other African countries.
