The death of Mr Chika Onuegbu who was the Deputy National President of the Trade Union Congress, TUC, has been announced.
Chika Onuegbu died in the early hours of Saturday, January 2, 2021, after a brief illness. The exact cause of death was not immediately disclosed.
Mr Onuegbu died in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The State Chairman of the Nigerian Labour Congress, Mrs Beatrice Itubo, described the news of Chika Onuegbu’s death as “devastating”, adding that he passed at a time his “boldness and bravery” are greatly needed.
