Two friends identified as Ifadare Afolabi and Ifaseun Afolabi, working as an Ogboni priest and herbalist respectively, have been arrested in Osun State for allegedly killing a 35-year-old man named Ayoade Fasesin and using his body for money ritual.

According to reports from local media, the deceased had approached the herbalist, Ifaseun Afolabi, for a money ritual business.

However, the herbalist conspired with his friend, Ifadare Afolabi (an Ogboni priest) and murdered the client instead, using his body parts for the ritual.

According to PUNCH, the Ogboni chief, Ifadare confessed while being paraded by the Police that he used the victim’s head and legs for a charm to draw clients to his temple in Ikirun, Osun State.

He, however, lamented that the charm did not work because he did not see any increase in customers.

According to the Police, the suspects also confessed they butchered and sold the victim’s heart at the cost of N15,000, while the head, leg and wrist were sold to three different people.

Police say the suspects will be arraigned in court as soon they complete their investigation.
