Nigeria’s out-going ambassador to the United States Sylvanus Nsofor is dead.
Mr Sylvanus Nsofor was a retired justice of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. He died at the age of 85.
The Nigerian government “expressed heartfelt commiserations with the family, friends and associates of Sylvanus Nsofor” in an official statement.
Justice Sylvanus Adiewere Nsofor was appointed an ambassador by President Muhammadu Buhari in 2017.
