It was gathered that the incident took place on the evening of Sunday, July 12, in the Isawo area of Ikorodu.
Late Sherifat Suleiman and her brother lived in a two-room apartment in Isawo, Ikorodu, Lagos. They were said to be constantly fighting. Sherifat Suleiman was said to be preparing to write her WAEC exams before the incident happened.
She started living with her brother in Ikorodu after their father died. Following their constant fights, Sherifat allegedly swallowed a poisonous substance she bought and started writhing in pains.
