MacKenzie Scott, the ex-wife of Amazon CEO, Jeff Bezos, has gotten married again.
MacKenzie Scott who inherited US$35.6 billion in Amazon stock following her split from Jeff Bezos in 2019 has married a high school chemistry teacher named Dan Jewett.
The marriage was revealed in a post Dan Jewett made on the Giving Pledge – a site where the world’s wealthiest people meet to contribute part of their wealth to philanthropic causes – on March 6, 2021.
Scott’s ex-husband, Bezos, congratulated the couple. Bezos, in a statement made through an Amazon spokesman, said:
“Dan is such a great guy, and I am happy and excited for the both of them”.
With a reported net worth of $53 billion, MacKenzie Scott, 50, is currently one of the top 5 richest women in the world.
