The Deputy Speaker of Kaduna State House of Assembly, Hon Mukhtar Isa Hazo has been impeached.
Hon. Mukhtar Isa Hazo was impeached this Thursday afternoon by 24 members of the House.
The lawmakers cited Hazo’s inability to competently discharge his duties as Deputy Speaker as the reason for his impeachment.
A new Deputy Speaker Hon Isaac Auta representing Kauru Constituency has been sworn in after a vote of no confidence was passed on Mukhtar Isa Hazo.
