A Nigerian politician named Daniel Ukpera has been heavily criticized for donating ropes to residents of his community.
Mr Ukpera donated strands of yellow ropes to residents of the Guma community in Benue for them to tie their goats with. Guma is one of the Local Government Areas of Benue State, Nigeria.
Daniel Ukpera is a Benue State politician. In 2019, he contested for the Guma State Constituency seat in the Benue State House of Assembly elections under the platform of Labour Party (LP).
He eventually lost to the People’s Democratic Party contestant, Hon. Bem Benjamin Mzondu.
