President Muhammadu Buhari has on Thursday, October 22, told the International Community reacting to the recent violence witnessed in the country after soldiers opened fire at unarmed protesters in Lekki, Lagos, to wait to have all the facts before taking any decision.
Buhari made the statement while addressing the nation Thursday evening, October 22 over the recent security issues going in the country, ignited by the shooting of unarmed #ENDSARS protesters at the Lekki Toll Plaza.
President Muhammadu Buhari in his speech said:
“To our neighbours in particular, and members of the international community, many of whom have expressed concern about the ongoing development in Nigeria, we thank you and urge you all to seek to know all the facts available before taking a position or rushing to judgment and making hasty pronouncements.”
