Abike Dabiri denies tweeting that kidnapped 333 Katsina schoolboys have returned

Nigerian politician Abike Dabiri-Erewa has denied being behind a Thursday tweet from her personal account that claimed that the 333 schoolboys abducted in Kankara, Katsina have returned.

“The 333 boys captured in katsina have been rescued,” Dabiri-Erewa tweeted Thursday afternoon.

The post was deleted almost immediately.

The former House of Reps member who is now the Chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission has denied making the post herself.

Abike Dabiri said she lost control of her Twitter account for some minutes before she regained it.

Her new tweet said:

”Pls don’t credit any post on katsina boys to my Twitter handle. I lost control of my handle in the last couple of minutes, along with my Instagram. I have recovered and changed my password.”
