Boko Haram claims responsibility for kidnapping 333 schoolboys in Katsina State

The Boko Haram extremist group has claimed responsibility for abducting 333 schoolboys in Katsina State last week.

Some 333 students of Government Science Secondary School in Kankara, Katsina State remain missing after gun-wielding bandits attacked the school on the night of Friday, December 11, 2020.

Scores of other students managed to escape, local reports say.

Local sources also say that Boko Haram recruited three local gangs in northwest Nigeria to carry out the attack on their behalf.

The terrorist group has claimed responsibility for the attack and as of Wednesday, December 16, the 333 students are still missing.

The terrorist group are known to be more ruthless with boys and will more likely kill than kidnap them.
