Though a native of Kaduna State, Jimmy Odukoya was born in Lagos State. He is the son of late Pastor Bimbo Odukoya and Pastor Taiwo Odukoya of Fountain of Life Church. Jimmy Odukoya’s mother, Bimbo Odukoya, died in the ill-fated Sosoliso plane crash in December 2005, along with 102 other passengers.
Jimmy Odukoya’s father who is also the senior pastor of Fountain of Life Church, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya remarried in 2010 to a South African woman named Rosemary Simangele Zulu. Jimmy Odukoya has four siblings, two sisters from his late mother and two stepbrothers from his father’s new wife.
