Former UNILAG VC Ibidapo Obe dies of COVID-19

The death of a former UNILAG vice-chancellor Professor Ibidapo Obe has been announced.

Professor Ibidapo Obe died on Sunday, January 3, 2021, of COVID-19 complications.

He was aged 71.

Professor Oyewusi Ibidapo-Obe is survived by his wife Olusola Obe and four children.

Professor Ibidapo Obe was the former President of the Nigeria Academy of Science before his death.
