Actress Akuapem Poloo in tears after bagging 90-day jail term for posing nude with son

Ghanaian actress Rosemond Brown, better known as Akuapem Poloo, has been sentenced to 90 days in prison for posing nude with her son for a social media photo.

Akuapem Poloo was found guilty of “publication of obscene material and domestic violence” and sentenced to three months in prison by an Accra circuit court.

The actress reportedly broke down in tears during her sentencing and kept pleading with the judge to pardon her.

According to an eyewitness, Akuapem Poloo kept crying to the judge: “Mummy please, Mummy, I beg you, Mummy please.”

The judge said Akuapem Poloo’s sentencing will serve as a deterrent to others who may want to toe the same path.
