The biggest gig of her career to date – English singer and songwriter Dua Lipa opened the UEFA Champions League Final last night with live performances of some of her top-charting songs like IDGAF and New Rules.
While some have described 22-year-old Lipa’s performance as “acceptable” (at least for an artiste her age), others seem to disagree.
Reacting to Lipa’s UEFA performance, someone wrote, “She’s no Beyoncé”, obviously making references to Beyoncé’s triumphant headlining set at Coachella this year.
“More dead than Lana Del Rey, no emotion,” another fan wrote.
True, Lipa is definitely not Beyoncé when it comes to stage energy and fan pull, but we hope she gets better with time!
