Brymo mauled on Twitter over ‘rapist’ comment

Nigerian musician Ọlawale Ọlọfọrọ popularly known as Brymo is currently being dragged on Twitter for a recent comment he made concerning the recent rape reports in Nigeria.

Reacting to the trending hashtags, Brymo wrote: “Is Rapist a new word for anyone doing something of note these days??”

The comment has been heavily criticized by Nigerians who called it thoughtless and insensitive.

In another tweet, Brymo declared his love for US current president, Donald Trump, writing: “Donald J. Trump has been my man of the year for many years…”

The comment was also met with some disapproval.
