Release date of Toyin Abraham’s ‘Fate Of Alakada’ on Netflix confirmed

Toyin Abraham’s 2020 comedy movie ‘Fate Of Alakada’ is coming to Netflix and an official release date has been set.

The American movie streaming platform earlier announced the acquisition of rights to distribute the movie.

FilmOne, the film’s original distributors, announced the comedy sequel will premiere on Netflix on March 5, 2021.

Fate of Alakada has now been confirmed as one of the three new titles coming to Netflix in March, the other two being ‘Just In Time’ and ‘Nigerian American’.

Fate of Alakada is Toyin Abraham’s latest instalment to the Alakada franchise. The movie was directed by Kayode Kasum and stars Toyin Abraham and Broda Shaggi alongside other Nollywood actors, reality TV stars and musicians.

Fate of Alakada was a success following its release in 2020. It made over N100 million in the box office despite the coronavirus restrictions on social gatherings and the #EndSARS agitations.
