Nollywood actress Omoni Oboli has shared a personal message she received from one of her followers who complained about how passionately she and co-actor Richard Mofe Damijo kissed in a movie.
The fan reminded Omoni Oboli that she is a married woman and that Nigeria has “traditions”. The fan went on to describe the actress’ action in the movie as a “shame”.
The fan’s message to Omoni Oboli reads:
“I am just watching one of your movies when you’re running for governorship election against your husband Richard Mofe Damijo, see how you guys are kissing each other in the name of film. You’re married woman for God sake and we have tradition in that country. What a shame.”
Reacting to the message, Omoni Oboli shared a screenshot of the exchange and asked:
“How do we educate her now?”
The actress also informed the said fan that she’ll be playing a prostitute in her next movie.
“I’m playing a prostitute in my next BANGER! I guess that will make me a prostitute in real life. Oh well…DOMITILLA is coming!!!”
Nollywood actress Omoni Oboli and her husband Nnamdi Oboli have been married for 20 years now. They wedded in October 2000 and have three grown-up boys together.
